Sunday August 29th

The flowers in church today are for Ruth (Harrison) and Paul’s wedding celebration, which is taking place later today! They are also in memory of Ruth’s grandmother, Pat Green, who loved Holy Trinity, and left us on 28th August 1998.

Sunday 5th September

8am – Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer. (Restarting weekly)

10am – Parish Eucharist

12.30pm – Baptism of Noah Dunsmuir 6pm – Choral Evensong

Thursday Lunch Club is restarting on Thursday 2nd September.  Our aim is to provide a home cooked lunch twice a month in a friendly community for older people who live alone in the Headington area.   If you know of anyone who might like to come, or if you would like to help (we are in need of cooks and drivers but there are other jobs too) please contact Katya Drummond on or on 01865 763161.

Fundraising Events: Many thanks to Diana Clews for hosting a very successful drinks and canapes party, which raised £200 for the church building fund. We look forward to more fundraising events in the coming months – details to follow.

Flowers in church

The Flower arranging Team are in urgent need of donations to keep providing the beautiful flowers in church each week. If you would like to make a donation or indeed have flowers in memory of someone or for a special anniversary please ring Margaret Woodcock 761588. Thank you.

Food Boxes in Church

The Food Bank is not currently accepting food donations, but you can continue to donate food to asylum welcome which is one of our parish charities. We are hoping to set up a parish larder in the future, after further consultation with our local councillors, and will be exploring this further in September.
