Harvest Thanksgiving Service
We encourage everyone to make a donation to a local foodbank, in particular we’re supporting the Barton food bank via the card machine or collection plate. On this occasion when we remember to give thanks for the blessings we have and the need to share them more justly.

Shelagh Borden
As many of you will have already heard, Shelagh, a much loved member of our congregation died on on Saturday 30th August 2025, aged 85. Iain her son has let us know the following details for her service. All are welcome who knew Shelagh.

Emily’s leaving

Community Café every Tuesday 9.30 – 11.30am in the meeting room in church. An intergenerational space for parents/carers to spend time with their younger ones, meet up with people of all ages over a cup of tea/ coffee etc Toys available for preschool age children and toddlers. For the next 4 weeks would you like to learn how to weave a beret? on a piece of card! It is quite doable with a little help. Come to a morning in October Margaret Jackson.
Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care

Thursday November 6th sees the start of the Eco Autumn Talks Series. Tom Bedford, local ornithologist and wildlife photographer will speak about his two hobbies, with reference to bird life in Lye Valley and beyond. He will also discuss ways of encouraging birds to visit our gardens during the winter months and give tips on how to create good photographs. His talk will be heavily based on his photographs.
