Intercessions at 10am service
From today we will have two prayer lists for our public intercessions. There will be a shorter one for people in particularly acute need at the moment, and a longer one for those at home, in care or with long term conditions. Please do not be concerned if you do not see your loved one’s name appear every week in the notices – we are still praying and they have not been forgotten! We will pray for those with longer term needs on the last Sunday of the month (this will next be on February 22.) The anniversaries of those who have died will be remembered as normal. The Pastoral Care team welcome updates.
Warm Soup for the winter
The Gatehouse supports adults aged 25+ who are homeless, vulnerably housed, on low income and/or looking for company and community. Holy Trinity will again be providing soup for the Gatehouse – if you are able to make one or more batches of 2 litres of vegetarian soup on Sunday 8 February, please let Monika Blackwell know (mdblackwell@hotmail.com or 07880 797009).
Today Sunday 1 February I will leave some freezer bags, labels and instructions at the back of church. If you are unable to collect them please let me know and I will drop them off. Thank you – this nourishing and warming soup is very welcomed. Monika Blackwell (0)7880 797009

This week’s Eco Tip
How did Big Garden Birdwatch go? In your hour of observing did the blue tits and finches descend on the bird feeders? If not, you are not alone. Some tips: ensure that feeders and water bowls are filled and clean, and the bird feed dry and out of reach of squirrels and prowling cats. Hilary Rollin, Eco Church Group
