Revision of the parish electoral roll before the annual meeting
The electoral roll is the list of members of our church community here at Holy Trinity. If you joined the roll when we made the new one last year, you don’t need to do anything, your name remains on the list!
However, if you are new to our community, or have just reached the age of 16, please sign up, as our membership list is very useful to us. You need to be 16 years old or over, baptised (in any Christian denomination) and either resident in the parish or regularly worshipping at Holy Trinity.
If you have any questions please get in touch with me. The parish’s data privacy notice can be viewed here: https://www.hthq.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Privacy-notice-and-GDPR-policy.pdf
You can either fill in a paper form (available in the church) or find the form on the church website, complete it online and email it to me – in that case it doesn’t need a physical signature. Please do this by Wednesday 15 April so that the revised roll can be published before the annual meeting.Joan Jones – Electoral Roll Officer – 07710611250 – electoralroll@hthq.uk

A Lenten Retreat
You are warmly invited to join a residential retreat organised by the Oxford Area of TSSF at the Old Parsonage Freeland, from Monday 16th to Thursday 19th March. The conductor is our former curate, Emily, and her title and theme are Rupture and Redemption: an opportunity to reflect on brokenness in our own stories and in the world, and God’s wondrous work of redemption, guided by our spiritual journey from wilderness to the tomb. The total cost for bed and board is £225. Please register your interest by contacting The Revd Jean King at oxfordretreat@yahoo.co.uk Further details from Chris and Jan at m@cleods.co.uk

Rob’s Farewell
You are warmly invited to a simple celebration on Palm Sunday, 29th March, to mark The Rev ProfRob Gilbert’s final service with us. Cake and refreshments will be served immediately following the Sunday 10am service. This will be an opportunity to give thanks, share fellowship, and wish Rob well for the next chapter of his ministry in the Cherwell Valley Benefice. If you would like to make a contribution to his gift, please give it to the Church Wardens or transfer to the Church bank account. Please clearly state ‘for Rob Gilbert.’ Name: The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Holy Trinity Account Number: 80484903 Sort Code: 20-65-21 We hope you will be able to join us. Best, Margaret T and Linda.
New filter Coffee and Tea
If you are able to it would help the church funds if you could donate to the refreshment fund each week by either putting money in the jar or by using the card machine. Thank you.
New PCC and Deanery Synod members will be needed at the end of April when these positions become vacant as people step down at the end of their term. Please speak to either Wardens or Revd Martin to find out more about these roles if you’re interested in this ministry.
This week’s Eco Tip
On a similar note to last week’s theme, unless your dishwasher has a programme to run a half-load, wait till it is full. NB Contrary to popular belief, using a dishwasher is more water-efficient than washing-up by hand, using 9.5 litres for a full cycle. Opt for eco-friendly cycles and lower temperature settings.
