It is with great sadness that we heard that Malcolm, Margaret Woodcock’s husband died on Monday March 16th at Sobell House. Our thoughts and prayers are with Margaret and her family. Details of Malcolm’s funeral here at Holy Trinity will be announced when confirmed.
Jan Wheeler’s Funeral will be held at 11am on March 26th at the Oxford Crematorium. All are welcome. We continue to pray for her family.
Our new Safeguarding Officer is Anne Cowan and her contact details are at the back of this booklet. We give thanks for Anne Tarassenko’s 10 years of service in this important role.
Revision of the parish electoral roll before the annual meeting
The electoral roll is the list of members of our church community here at Holy Trinity. If you joined the roll when we made the new one last year, you don’t need to do anything, your name remains on the list!
However, if you are new to our community, or have just reached the age of 16, please sign up, as our membership list is very useful to us. You need to be 16 years old or over, baptised (in any Christian denomination) and either resident in the parish or regularly worshipping at Holy Trinity.
If you have any questions please get in touch with me. The parish’s data privacy notice can be viewed here: https://www.hthq.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Privacy-notice-and-GDPR-policy.pdf
You can either fill in a paper form (available in the church) or find the form on the church website, complete it online and email it to me – in that case it doesn’t need a physical signature. Please do this by Wednesday 15 April so that the revised roll can be published before the annual meeting. Joan Jones – Electoral Roll Officer – 07710611250 – electoralroll@hthq.uk

A coach has been booked to go to Heyford Park to celebrate Rob’s licencing. The cost per person at present is £14, but that could well be less if the coach is full (as I am hoping it will be). There is a board to sign at the back of the church, and I hope many of you will join us. We already have some members of New Marston Church where Rob has been presiding, who would like to join us. New filter Coffee and Tea
If you are able to it would help the church funds if you could donate to the refreshment fund each week by either putting money in the jar or by using the card machine. Thank you.
This week’s Eco Tip
With droughts, deluges, floods, burst water mains, and talk of new reservoirs to meet the growing need for water, water is never far from our thoughts. However, on World Water Day it has special resonance. How best to reduce our water consumption? Discuss with others after the service. Hilary Rollin, Eco Church Group
