He will also discuss ways of encouraging birds to visit our gardens during the winter months and give tips on how to create good photographs. His talk will be heavily based on his photographs. This week’s Eco Tip

Act now to keep the cold out and avoid unnecessarily high energy bills. Two simple measures now can save pennies and pounds later, and maybe save lives! You don’t have to be an ace seamstress to make a ‘sausage’ draft excluder to place at the bottom of your front/back door. All you need is a length of fabric and some stuffing (old tights?). Nor need you be experienced in DIY to instal self-adhesive draft excluder round doors. Hilary Rollin, Eco Church Group
