Thank you

Once again thank you to everyone for your generous donations for Prof. Rev Rob Gilbert’s leaving gifts. It was a lovely send off on Palm Sunday from a wonderful and grateful gathering of church members. Love Margaret and Linda Wardens.  Our thanks go to Linda and Margaret for all the hard work organising this special send off. It was clear that Rob loved the cards, personal messages and the framed gifts.

This week’s Eco Tip

May is almost here, and with it No Mow May. Contractors are asked not to mow parks and verges, and home-owners are encouraged not to mow lawns. By not mowing during May we allow lawns to become temporary wildflower habitats; we boost biodiversity by providing nectar for pollinators, supporting wildlife habitats, increasing carbon storage, and reducing pollution from lawnmowers.
